Why You Need a Licensed Operator on July 4th
July 4th is the busiest night of the year for fireworks in Texas. You can't just hire anyone with shells—municipal shows need licensed operators, approved permits, mapped fallout zones, and insurance your city will accept.

When to Book
Six to twelve months out is ideal. Good firing spots, crew schedules, and permit timelines get tight once spring hits. Wait too long and you're picking from what's left—or paying rush rates.
Booking early also gives you time to sort out music, coordinate with police and fire, and line up the rest of your festival without the fireworks being an afterthought.
What's in the Contract
Typically: site visit, permits, licensed crew, insurance certificates, the product, setup, the show, and cleanup. Want patriotic music synced to the shells? Multiple firing locations? We can build that in.

Tips for Your Committee
When you call for a quote, have a rough headcount, how long you want the show (15–30 minutes is common), and any music or theme in mind. Think about where people will watch from and how emergency vehicles get in and out.
